Gundlach and some others have an incentive to make people worry more than is probably appropriate. There are lots of reasons to worry, but increased inaccuracy due to a tiny weight of the CPI being estimated is not one of them!

The info about the CPI estimations is timely, because Jeff Gundlach just a week ago on CNBC cited the increased number of estimations in CPI data as evidence the numbers might be unreliable.
