Jesse - thanks for listening. I actually have plans for a gold episode soon, touching on these topics exactly. I was going to call it WTF Gold, but think that might be a bit too edgy. :-) I also owe one on crypto. Short answer is that several of our strategies use gold - but we don’t look at it quite the way gold fans typically do. We have regarded gold as very expensive for a few years now but it is getting cheaper. It’s a big topic and I hope I can do it justice.

Hi Mike I really enjoy your podcast. I’m a gold bug and noticed that you haven’t really commented on gold one way or the other. Are you a fan of the monetary metal or not? Do you expect it to keep pace with inflation? It seems to have lagged since the run up in 2020, as if the market thinks the FED is going to get inflation under control and the price of gold will fall. I’d appreciate hearing your candid thoughts on the matter.
